Why Dust Free? |

|
An estimated 60% of British horses and ponies suffer from undetected respiratory diseases according to the Animal Health Trust.
These diseases, adversely affect the performance of the horse or pony and can lead to C.O.P.D. (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease)
The symptoms include nasal discharge, coughing, increased respiratory effort and poor exercise tolerance.
The most common cause of respiratory disease is an allergic reaction to the dust and mould spores found in hay and bedding.
Respiratory systems, already under stress from allergic reactions can more easily succumb to secondary viral and bacterial infection. |
