Home      FAQ
Your product is more expensive than some other Cardboard bedding.

When comparing Ecopetbed with other bedding, we would recommend that you check the following:

Bale Weight/Volume : Our bales weigh on average approx. 22kg, some other suppliers bales are only 15kg (30% Less)

Cardboard Quality    : Check that they are using new cardboard, not boxes that last week contained a bleach delivery to a supermarket.
Some of our cardboard is printed but these are factory over stocks or misprints, not used cardboard.

Security of Payment: We only use Paypal and NOCHEX, the worlds leading online payment systems.  We don't have access to any of your personal data, so there is no security risk.
If you quote your card number to a company over the phone, you cannot guarantee where that may be recorded and could end up.

Your carriage costs seem high?

We regularly check our rates with other carriers.

Our bales are usually delivered the next day after despatch.  Some companies take weeks to deliver.

Bales can be delivered and left somewhere safe without signature.

Some retailers can negotiate a set carriage rate based on an average weight parcel.  We can't do that as our average is 22kg.

We pack our bales in a strong protective outer bag*.  Others just send the bale as it is. (*Excluding Local Deliveries)

How long will a bale last?

We understand that on average a bale lasts up to 8 months for a single cage, but it will depend on many factors, such as how often you clean out the cage.
